I think people inherently feel a sense of accomplishment when they cross a milestone of any nature. The number 100 is a big one. Considering the blog medium, and the question you've posed, maybe it's just your subconscious at work telling you that the automatic response the crossing the 100th line is to be celebratory about it.

I don't know, it's 9:30am and I am not even awake. Tripped on my own feet two times on the way to work this morning.
