Some may say it's nerdy. Some may wonder why. I just think it's cool! My url has changed! I'm no longer "attached" to blogspot because I have my very own www. address type thingy wotsit.
No need to try and remember that long complicated url, it's just www.allmodcons.org! And I get a new email address too! allmodcons@allmodcons.org! And for a mere $10, which works out at about 5 pounds, for an entire year!

What's the benefit? Other than the e-mail address.
Psychgrad - I'll be honest and say that I've not figured that out yet. Everything seems to go through Google Apps...so I'm going to start having an explore. As soon as I find out some of the benefits I'll let you know. Although you can have several email addresses, which you can give to others, eg psychgrad@allmodcons.org.
Congrats on the new address, it always seems more substantial when a blog has its own.
